Hello potential Bowlful of Blues volunteers!

Are you interested in volunteering for the Bowlful of Blues on September 16, from 4:00 to 9:30 p.m.? We rely on volunteers to staff the show and keep this community-based event alive and cooking. Together with our new nonprofit partner, Community Advocacy Coalition of Ventura County, we look forward to a successful event that will allow us to continue our donations toward music education for local youth.

If you think you might like to volunteer, please fill out the Volunteer application and then join us for a sign-up and shift placement meeting and party on Thursday, August 24, at Nutmeg’s Ojai House, 304 N. Montgomery St., from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Finger foods, desserts and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided. If you can, please bring a potluck dish to share. The important thing is to either attend or contact us if you would like to volunteer but cannot attend the meeting. Shifts vary from 2.5 to 5 hours and will start with setup on Friday evening and Saturday morning, through the event, and clean-up Saturday night.
